Wednesday 9/20/17 – The Blessed Sacrament chapel will reopen tomorrow – Thank you to all who have donated items, please be aware that this will be a long haul for some in and around our parish community. We will continue to keep you updated with needs – the Diocese is having a second collection this weekend for victims of Hurricane Irma. Make your check out to San Marco Catholic Church with Irma relief in the memo.
Wednesday 9/13/17 – Mass will resume tomorrow morning at 8 am – Please note: the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, the office and the Parish Center remained closed until further notice. All those in the path of Irma and Harvey still remain in our prayers. The island could have been so much worse – God is Good!
Monday 9/11/17 – We thank God that the damage from Irma was not as bad as it could have been. Everyone is safe so far that we know. San Marco Parish will not be open for Mass etc. until power, water and the priest can be restored to the island. May God bless you and keep you safe.
Irma update – All Masses Saturday through Monday are cancelled here at San Marco, you have dispensation BUT are expected to pray, read the Bible and receive spiritual communion: My Jesus, I believe that you are truly present in the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar. I love you above all things, and long for you in my soul. Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. As though you have already come, I embrace you and unite myself entirely to you; never permit me to be separated from you. St. Alphonsus.
San Alfonso.
