Welcome to San Marco Catholic Church
San Marco Catholic Church became a parish in 1971, meeting at a variety of locations on Marco Island. Groundbreaking for our church began in October 1987, culminating in the dedication of San Marco in January of 1989.
We are a Catholic Christian Community, nourished by the Spirit, blessed by our individual gifts, walking on a journey to God. Together we celebrate the Eucharist, and proclaim the Gospel, serving God and neighbor. As a large parish, we are blessed with approximately 3,500 year round families with an additional 8,000 seasonal residents and visitors. We are blessed with ministries and organizations that invite you into the service of our Lord and enable you to pursue your path of spiritual enrichment. We are a “family of faith” convinced that God calls us to be good stewards of our Time, Talent and Treasure
We provide structure and support for the education and social development of our Youth, Young Adults, Adults and Seniors so that all might develop a deeper spirituality and grow together as a Christian family. The Eucharistic Table is the center and source from which flow the graces necessary to be the Body of Christ, and to continue His mission.
